Local Guides,
Lasting Memories

Epic 4x4 Adventures began with a simple observation: Moab visitors were settling for less than they deserved. Paper maps that disintegrated in the wind. Vehicles that hadn't been serviced in months. Guides who knew one trail and little else. We knew Moab—and its visitors—deserved better.

"We built Epic around one simple idea: Moab deserves to be experienced, not rushed through. When guests leave talking about the hidden overlooks they discovered and the stories they'll tell for years, that's everything."

Our Story

Epic 4x4 Adventures began in 2020 with a clear vision: create off-road experiences that honor both adventure seekers and the landscape we call home.

What started as a single vehicle, has grown into Moab's most trusted adventure company—not through aggressive expansion, but through genuine connections and word-of-mouth from guests who found something different in how we operate.
Core Values

Principles That Guide
Every Adventure

Respect
for the Land

This red rock wilderness is our home, not just our office. We stick to designated trails, teach desert ecology, and invest in preservation efforts. Every decision considers our impact on the landscape that sustains us.

Genuine
Expertise

Our guides are Moab locals who kayak the Colorado on weekends and mountain bike the Whole Enchilada. They complete our 8-stage training program, combining technical skills with deep local knowledge. No scripts—just genuine passion for sharing this place.

Safety Without Compromise

Adventure should push boundaries, not break them. Our UTV fleet is always fresh for the current model year. First aid certified guides. Comprehensive protection included. These aren't selling points—they're requirements.

Being a Polaris Elite outfitter means we can focus on what matters most: giving you an experience where every detail is handled, every question answered, and every moment on the trail feels effortless.

Stay On The
Marked Paths

Although the soil may seem inert, it’s actually teeming with life! Known as cryptobiotic soil, this layer of terrain is extremely sensitive to human contact. It is important that we protect this soil as it provides the literal foundation for other life in the area. To accomplish this, we do not stray from marked paths so we can avoid trampling this delicate yet critical ground.

Admire Nature
From Afar

As the famous saying goes: “Take nothing but pictures. Leave nothing but footprints. Kill nothing but time.” Though we of course encourage guests to admire the plant and animal life in Moab, we ask that it not be disturbed in any way. Don’t tamper with plants, and don’t interact with animals. Marvel at nature’s wonders from afar. That way, we can preserve it for everybody.

Abide by All
BLM Laws & Regulations

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is part of the U.S. Department of the Interior. The BLM’s mission is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of public lands for the continued use and enjoyment of present and future generations. Among their guiding principles, BLM cultivates community-based conservation, citizen-centered stewardship, and partnership through consultation, cooperation, and communication. At Epic 4×4 Adventures, we consider the BLM true experts in their field. We respect their guidelines and work in tandem with them to ensure our land is well-preserved.

Pack it In,
Pack it Out

On each of our tours, we bring along a few comfort items along with plenty of bottled water and light snacks. However, we ensure that everything we take onto the trail comes back with us for proper disposal. We also make it a habit to pack out what others may have accidentally left behind.
