You-Drive tours let you take the wheel of a Polaris UTV while following an expert guide through Moab's trails. You're in control but supported by professional guidance throughout. We-Drive tours (like our Pro Xperience) position you as a passenger while experienced guides pilot custom vehicles through the terrain. You-Drive tours offer hands-on adventure for drivers 16+, while We-Drive tours are perfect for families with young children or those who prefer to relax and enjoy the scenery without driving responsibilities.
The Ride-Alone Hell’s Revenge UTV Tour is a guided ride on Moab’s renowned Hell’s Revenge trail. For this experience, you are behind the wheel! This tour highlights the iconic Moab slickrock and fossilized sand dunes within the Sand Flats Recreation Area. Rides are available daily in both the morning and at sunset.
Drivers 18 years and older with a valid driver's license can participate independently on most tours. Our Hell's Revenge Pro R Ultimate Experience requires all participants to be 21+. Epic 4x4 Adventures allows drivers as young as 16-17 years old on select guided You-Drive tours when accompanied by a parent or guardian in the vehicle. Passengers of all ages (minimum 5 years old) can join as long as they can safely sit with backs against the backrest and feet planted firmly.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made 48 hours or more before your scheduled tour departure receive a full refund. For greater flexibility, our optional Travel Protection upgrade allows cancellations up to 1 hour before departure. If Epic 4x4 Adventures must cancel due to extreme weather, safety concerns, or insufficient reservations, you'll receive immediate notification with options to reschedule or receive a full refund. No-shows and cancellations after the scheduled departure time are not eligible for refunds.

All Epic 4x4 Adventures tours include use of premium Polaris vehicles, DOT-certified helmets and safety gear for all riders, professional guide services, entry fees where applicable, bottled water and trail snacks, comprehensive liability and medical coverage (up to $15,000 liability, $25,000 medical per rider),
Epic 4x4 Adventures offers tours ranging from 3 hours to over 4 hours depending on the experience. We can also build custom itineraries for full-day or multi-day adventure.
Epic 4x4 Adventures tours access Moab's most iconic slickrock trails including Hell's Revenge (Moab's premier slickrock trail with steep climbs and Colorado River views), Fins N' Things (rolling sandstone sections perfect for beginners), and Poison Spider Mesa (legendary technical terrain). Our Moab Discovery Tour explores riverside canyons, ancient petroglyph sites, wind caves, and panoramic overlooks. All tours operate on public, Department of Interior/BLM lands—we cannot enter Arches or Canyonlands National Parks on UTVs per federal regulations.
Yes, all Epic 4x4 rental UTVs are street legal. You may used public streets and roads for trail accesss.

Each tour begins with comprehensive safety briefings and vehicle orientation. Professional guides lead the way at a comfortable pace, providing turn-by-turn guidance and support throughout. For the most beginner-friendly experience, we recommend our Moab Discovery Tour in climate-controlled vehicles or the Gateway to Hell's Revenge tour, which covers moderate terrain perfect for building confidence.
The Poison Spider Mesa tour is well suited for novice off-road drivers but will be most enjoyed by confident, capable drivers comfortable with technical terrain including narrow shelf roads, steep climbs, and challenging rock features.
Epic 4x4 Adventures requires all riders to wear DOT-certified helmets regardless of age—these are provided at no charge. Safety goggles and vehicle-specific gear are also included. Unlike Utah law which only mandates helmets for riders under 18, our policy requires helmets for all participants, ensuring maximum protection on challenging terrain. Closed-toe shoes are required.
